Alec Miranda

Alec is currently finishing his bachelor's degree in music education at Texas State University. He has been in a variety of ensembles during his time at Texas State including the United Campus Ministry Worship Band (Bass, Drums Set, Guitar), Texas State Horn Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Wind Symphony, and currently serves as the principal horn for the Symphony Orchestra. Alec performed with the Crossmen on mellophone from 2015-2017. He then performed with the Blue Devils in 2018 and 2019 earning their 19th World Championship with Ghostlight. He will travel to Europe in the summer of 2020 to perform with the Blue Devils International Drum and Bugle Corps. He has been a marching band technician of bands in the Austin area, most notably Cedar Park High School during their 2019 fall season where they achieved their 5th Texas State Marching Band Championship. He teaches private lessons in the Austin area.
