Allison Satterwhite

Picture
Allison Satterwhite is a conductor, clarinetist, and educator from Richmond, Virginia. She holds a Master’s degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from James Madison University.  While at the University of Maryland, Allison worked as a Graduate Assistant with the “Mighty Sound of Maryland” Marching Band and athletic bands. She also conducted the University Band, a 110-member concert band comprised mainly of non-music majors, and the clarinet choir. Allison is currently studying at James Madison University in pursuit of a Master’s degree in Wind Band Conducting. She is also a Graduate Assistant with the JMU Marching Royal Dukes and is a staff member with the JMU Summer Band Camps program.
When not teaching or performing music, Allison can be found running, quoting The Office, or playing with her cat, Milo (sometimes all at the same time).
