Daniel Gutierrez

Daniel Gutierrez is a California native, born and raised in Bakersfield. He is currently studying Engineering Management at California State University Bakersfield. Daniel was introduced to the marching activity at a very young age, beginning his drum corps career as a freshman in high school at the age of 14. Since then, he has had a wide variety of instructional background, many years of experience in both DCI and WGI, and has many more years to continue to learn and grow as a musician, performer, and person.
Daniel spent his first 2 summers at Golden Empire Drum and Bugle Corps in ‘15-’16 and later went to march under Colin McNutt at Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps in ‘17 and is now currently the battery section leader until his age out in ‘21. Daniel also started his WGI career with Bakersfield College where he spent 3 years from ‘16-’18. He then went to march RCC in ‘19 and is serving as the quad section leader until his age out in ‘23. Daniel is ecstatic to be on board with MDC and wants to give you all the right tools and skills to marchdrumcorps! |
