Phil Andrews

Phil Andrews hails from Bristol, Connecticut. He is currently pursuing a B.A. in Music at Central Connecticut State University. Phil's marching experience includes his high school and college marching bands, serving as section leader for both. He marched for 7th Regiment from 2013-2015, and Carolina Crown from 2016-2018, serving as the battery section leader in 2018. He's also marched in the WGI circuit with Cadets Winter Percussion, George Mason University, and most recently, Rhythm X. In addition to this, Phil is a member of the Connecticut Blues Fife and Drum Corps.
    Phil is currently the snare technician at Centerville High School, and has taught at a plethora of schools across the country, including Plainfield High School, Blackstone-Millville High School, and Freedom High School. He works independently as a private lessons instructor, with as many as 25 students a week. He is also the snare technician for the 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps in West Haven, Connecticut. Phil is excited to be a part of the MDC team, and is looking forward to inspiring the future generations of exceptional marching members!
