Thomas Graham
Thomas Graham is the Director of Bands at Andrew Lewis Middle School and Assistant Director of Bands at Salem High School in Salem, VA. He graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Music Education and a minor in Jazz Studies. At JMU, he performed in the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Band, and a jazz combo. He also served as a Drum Major of the Marching Royal Dukes. He has conducted research in multiple topics, including assessment and improvisation in the large ensemble classroom. Thomas also performed in the trumpet section with Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps during the 2013 season. He is an active educator, performer, arranger, and adjudicator.
