Cameron Coday is a high school band director at Lamar High School in Houston, Texas. Cameron graduated High Honors from the University of Colorado Boulder with her Bachelor of Music Education (clarinet) and a Minor in Leadership Studies.
Cameron’s drum corps career was spent on baritone with Casper Troopers (2013-2014), Phantom Regiment (2015) and The Cadets (2016). While marching, she earned the title of “2013 Rookie of the Year” and “2016 Distinguished Visual Member.” Between her summers, she marched cymbals and performed as a visual ensemble member for Rise Percussion. Now aged out, she spends her time with the Oregon Crusaders, who welcome her back as a second year low brass instructor.
When not doing band, Cameron enjoys crossfit, trying to find cheap Hamilton tickets, and reading. She is the proud mother of a betta fish and snail, and can’t wait to start giving you lessons.
